Requirements for business partners

We are looking for passionate, innovative suppliers and service providers for our procurement network. Companies with global reach are every bit as interesting to us as local business partners, who are ready to develop further with us.

 

The following prerequisites apply for our business partners:

  • The basis for all collaboration with Schwarz Beschaffung is acceptance of the Code of Conduct. This governs compliance with established standards on reducing negative ecological and social effects in the supply chain. The observance of environmental standards with business partners is defined.
  • Currently applicable policies on safety at work and data privacy must be complied with.
  • We conclude master agreements as the basis of cooperation.

Call for tender procedure

It is our task to ensure that our requesters always obtain products and services that comply with the current technical requirements whilst simultaneously offering an optimum price-performance ratio. Regular audits of our suppliers’ performance are therefore necessary, particularly when there are several suppliers on the market. To this end, calls for tender serve to both stabilize existing supplier relationships as well as to look for new suppliers. 

 

As a rule, calls for tender are normally conducted as follows:

  • Definition of specific performance requirements
  • Preparation of tender documents in the form of a (master) contract document on the basis of the performance specifications
  • Definition of potential business partners via a long list
  • Query and assess incoming offers
  • Decision on short list
  • Negotiations and award of contract incl. contract conclusion
  • Implementation of the ordering process
  • Assessment after service provision and, where applicable, further development of the business relationship
